Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 29, 2026

AQ ("AQIS") is operated by WOLFF, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("WOLFF", "we", "us", or "our"). We provide the AQ app, aqis.one website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

  • Location data: GPS location, speed, direction, and time-based position data used for drive/session recording, automatic mileage tracking, route reconstruction, and routine detection.
  • Motion and activity data: Device motion signals (for example acceleration and movement state) used to detect driving, pause or resume capture, and improve trip classification.
  • Bluetooth and connection data: Device pairing and connection state for supported external GPS devices.
  • Recording, export, and app data: Session files, app settings, local files you choose to export or share, and limited diagnostics needed for app reliability.
  • Trip and insight data: Distance, duration, timestamps, routes, inferred recurring places, mileage estimates, predictive trip insights, and user corrections or labels you add to a trip.
  • Device, diagnostic, and log data: Device model, operating system, app version, IP address, crash reports, performance logs, server logs, and similar technical information used to operate and secure AQ.
  • Account and profile data: If accounts or public profiles are available and you choose to use them, we may collect profile details, account identifiers, settings, support requests, and content you choose to publish.
  • Notification data: AQ currently uses local device notifications for app functionality. If push notifications are added later, we may process push tokens or delivery metadata only to send notifications you enable.
  • System and API data: Limited technical data related to AQ systems, Noko-branded APIs, infrastructure, service reliability, AI-assisted insight generation, request authentication, abuse prevention, and rate limiting.
  • Subscription and payment data: If paid subscriptions are added later, payment and subscription details may be processed by an app store or payment provider. We do not plan to collect full payment card details directly.
  • Website analytics data: When you visit aqis.one, we use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and engagement. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages viewed, referring URLs, approximate location, browser and device details, timestamps, and cookie or similar identifier data.

External GPS Devices

You may connect an external GPS device to improve location accuracy. Data received from an external GPS device is used only to power app features such as session detection and recording quality.

Local Network GPS Sharing

If local network GPS sharing becomes available and you choose to use it, AQ may use your local network to discover and connect nearby devices, such as sharing GPS data between your iPhone and iPad for more accurate tracking. Local network sharing is intended for nearby AQ-compatible devices and does not make your raw GPS data public.

Location, Motion, and Trip Data

AQ depends on location, motion, and device signals to detect drives and create mileage records. Depending on your settings and device permissions, location may be collected while you are using the app or in the background so AQ can start, continue, and stop trip capture automatically. If you disable location, motion, Bluetooth, notifications, or related permissions, some AQ features may stop working or become less accurate. Revoking a permission does not automatically delete data already processed before the permission was changed. AQ is not currently designed to collect heart rate, sleep, workout, vital-sign, or similar health data.

Noko Move is not intended to use BLE camera remotes, video recording, recorded videos or images, camera capture, microphone recording, or background audio for AQ functionality.

AQ Assistant and AI Processing

AQ may use AQ APIs and AI model providers, including OpenAI, to generate driving insights, routine predictions, summaries, action suggestions, and related app responses. When AQ uses these services, it may send a privacy-filtered feature payload that includes trip metrics, safe route or area labels, routine context, preferences, feedback signals, request identifiers, client install identifiers, timing information, model routing details, token counts, request sizes, and similar operational metadata. AQ assistant requests are designed not to include raw GPS paths, raw motion/IMU streams, exact coordinates, or raw trip export files.

Public Profiles, Trip Cards, and Community

If public profiles or public trip cards become available, they are intended to be private or unpublished unless you choose to publish them. If you choose to publish content, that content may be visible to other people. Public trip cards are intended to be generated visualizations of a route, not exact map records. They should not include exact coordinates, detailed locations, raw GPS data, raw trip files, or precise start and end points, but you should review any content before sharing it. Even generalized route visuals may reveal broad travel patterns or sensitive context depending on what you share. Content shared publicly or through third-party communities may be copied, saved, indexed, or reshared outside AQ. Links to Reddit or other community platforms are governed by those third parties' own terms and privacy policies.

Maps and Route Visualization

AQ may use map and geocoding providers, including Apple Maps/MapKit and Mapbox, to display maps, create route visuals, generate thumbnails, and support location-based app features. Those providers may receive technical data such as IP address, device or app information, map viewport data, search or geocoding requests, and location-related data needed to provide the map feature you use.

Website Analytics and Cookies

We use Google Analytics on our website to measure audience engagement and site performance. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to distinguish visits and report aggregated usage statistics to us. We do not send app GPS recordings, driving sessions, or external GPS device data to Google Analytics. You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

If Google Sign-In or Google API access is added later, we will request only the permissions needed for the feature you choose to use, will not use Google user data for advertising, and will describe how to revoke that access.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children's Privacy

AQ is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are under 13 years of age, do not use the Services, create an account, submit information, publish content, or send us personal data. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without legally valid parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page.
